ENGIBEX in Belgium is seeking a mid‑ to senior‑level Powertrain Calibration Engineer. You will calibrate and validate eDCT systems, fine‑tune control strategies, and perform drivability assessments using data acquisition setups such as CANape/INCA, across multiple testing environments.

You will engage with customers and teammates worldwide, with travel to Sint‑Truiden or Lommel as needed. Ideal candidates hold a Master in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, possess 3–8 years in powertrain

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering field.
• Valid EU driver's license (category B).
• 3–8 years in powertrain calibration or controls engineering with drivability focus.
• Strong automotive background and powertrain dynamics knowledge.
• Good knowledge of block diagrams and Matlab/Simulink.
• Experience with calibration and data acquisition tools (e.g., Vector CANape, ETAS INCA).
• Background in e-Drive systems is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to report results clearly.
• Willingness to travel abroad; open to working in Sint-Truiden or Lommel.
• Independent, systematic, goal-oriented with problem-solving mindset.
• Knowledge of programming languages (C/C++/Python) is a plus.
• Experience with AVL CRETA, AVL DRIVE, AVL CAMEO, AVL SPA is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Carry out calibration work packages using our equipment and processes.
• Fine-tune parameters, validate control strategies, and ensure performance and reliability.
• Define and run test plans to calibrate eDCT under various conditions and setups.
• Conduct drivability assessments with data acquisition support.
• Manage calibration datasets for software modules.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to resolve roadblocks.
• Interact with customers, service providers, and team members at various locations.
