ENGIBEX, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, seeks a mid- to senior-level powertrain calibration engineer to calibrate and validate eDCT systems. You will perform calibration work packages, fine-tune parameters, and define test plans across multiple testing setups, including a transmission bench and chassis dynamometer.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• EU driver's license (category B).
• 3–8 years of experience in powertrain calibration/controls engineering (diagnostics, fault management, functional safety, system monitoring).
• Strong automotive background and powertrain knowledge, DTC logic, OBD/UDS (CAN).
• Knowledge of block diagrams and Matlab/Simulink.
• Experience with calibration tools and data acquisition systems (Vector CANape, ETAS INCA).
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 safety concepts is a plus.
• Proficient in clear English communication.
• Willing to travel and work in Sint-Truiden or Lommel.

Responsabilités

• Perform calibration work packages using our equipment and applying correct processes.
• Fine-tune parameters, validate control strategies, and ensure optimal system performance across driving scenarios.
• Define and execute test plans to calibrate and validate the eDCT system under various operating conditions and setups.
• Conduct drivability assessments with data acquisition support.
• Manage calibration datasets for software modules assigned.
• Collaborate with disciplines to resolve roadblocks.
• Interact with customers, service providers, and teammates at various locations.
