ENGIBEX in Belgium is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and validate control strategies for our modular hybrid transmission platform used in vehicles. You will work within a team of over 20 controls engineers, applying Model Based Development with Simulink to create driving strategy, actuation, diagnostics, and safety features.

The role spans the full V-cycle from requirement definition to validation on HiL, HiL, and test benches, collaborating with system engineering, validation,

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechatronics, Controls, Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 3+ years of automotive context experience preferred.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and related toolchains.
• Familiarity with model-based development and V-cycle processes.
• Knowledge of ISO26262 and ASPICE SWE1-SWE6 is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Join a team of >20 controls engineers developing controls software for our hybrid product line.
• Design and validate control strategies, e.g., driving strategy, coordination, actuation, diagnostics, and functional safety.
• Contribute to the full software V-cycle from requirements to validation on HiL, test benches, and vehicles.
• Collaborate with system engineering, validation & performance, ESW, testing and simulation teams.
