SII Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer / BI Developer to join a team dedicated to designing and optimizing data solutions. You will work across the entire data chain, from modeling to reporting, supporting high-value projects.

You will design Power BI dashboards, optimize databases, build ETL pipelines, integrate APIs, and contribute to the Data Warehouse, while ensuring code robustness and security.

Qualifications

• Power BI expertise with data modeling and dashboard creation.
• Strong SQL skills for complex queries across SQL Server, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in ETL and data integration using Python, C#, SSIS, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of APIs to integrate systems and automate data exchanges.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, modeling, normalization and historization.
• Focus on code robustness, security and maintainability.

Profile:

• Strong SQL skills for database design (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and manipulation and optimization of complex queries.
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages for ETL and interface development (Python, C#, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or other ETL tools).
• Knowledge of APIs to integrate and drive system-to-system exchanges.
• Attention to code robustness, security, and maintainability.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and best practices (modeling, normalization, historization management).
