SII Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer / BI Developer to join a team dedicated to designing and optimizing data solutions. You will work across the entire data chain, from modeling to reporting, supporting high-value projects.

You will design Power BI dashboards, optimize databases, build ETL pipelines, integrate APIs, and contribute to the Data Warehouse, while ensuring code robustness and security.

Qualifications

• Power BI expertise with data modeling and dashboard creation.
• Strong SQL skills for complex queries across SQL Server, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in ETL and data integration using Python, C#, SSIS, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of APIs to integrate systems and automate data exchanges.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, modeling, normalization and historization.
• Focus on code robustness, security and maintainability.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI, including data modeling and visualization management.
• Structure and optimize relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) to ensure query performance.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading, using appropriate programming or scripting languages (Python, C#, SSIS, or other ETL tools).
• Integrate APIs to drive and automate data exchanges between systems.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of the company's Data Warehouse, ensuring proper modeling, normalization, and historization management.
• Ensure the robustness, security, and maintainability of developed code.
