Job summary

act digital is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer & Analyst to join its Data Management team in Belgium. You will design, develop, and optimize reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to modernize BI infrastructure.

Required: 7+ years with Power BI and Fabric, SAP BW/BW4, Azure cloud services, and strong RLS/data governance experience. Fluent in Dutch/French/English, with agile project experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years as a Power BI Developer/Analyst or similar BI role.
• 7+ years hands-on with Microsoft Power BI.
• 5+ years with Microsoft Analysis Services (AAS).
• 2+ years with Microsoft Fabric.
• 3+ years with Azure Data & Cloud Services.
• Strong SAP BW/BW4 reporting experience.
• Experience implementing RLS and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business reporting requirements.
• Review current reporting solutions and define future-state architectures.
• Contribute to migration from legacy BI to Microsoft Fabric architectures.
• Design, develop, and implement Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Develop reporting solutions using SAP BW/BW4 and Azure data platforms.
• Implement RLS and data governance practices.
• Build multilingual, data-driven reporting environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical needs.
• Transform and model raw data into insights.
• Provide recommendations on optimization, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Validate deliverables from internal and external teams.
• Contribute to testing, data quality, and data cleansing initiatives.
