Job summary

Obelis s.a. in Brussels is seeking an Admin Payroll & Benefits Consultant to join our HR team. You will prepare and submit monthly payroll data to SD Worx, manage benefits, and assist employees with payroll questions.

This hybrid role offers international exposure, a training budget, and a chance to contribute to Belgian payroll procedures while supporting onboarding and internal HR documentation. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus. EU work permit is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR/Payroll & Benefits.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset and interest in payroll and benefits.
• Excellent communication and service orientation.
• EU work permit required; fluent in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly payroll data to SD Worx and manage hours via ProTime.
• Administer health insurance, meal vouchers, group insurance, and other benefits.
• Answer employees’ questions on payroll, hours, salaries, and benefits.
• Prepare payroll statistics and assist with forecasts and budget monitoring.
• Research salary benchmarks and payroll requirements in Belgium and other territories.
• Support onboarding and deliver annual training on payroll and benefits.
• Maintain records and update payroll procedures and HR documentation.
