Job summary

Materialise Medical is seeking an Account Manager - Orthopaedics to join the BeNe team, covering Belgium and the Netherlands. You will develop our Orthopaedics business, build relationships with surgeons and hospitals, and drive adoption of Materialise Orthopaedic solutions.

This hands-on role combines customer management, business development, clinical engagement, and strategic account development. You will identify opportunities, expand our presence in BeNe, attend surgeries when required, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Orthopaedic medical device sales, at least 3 years or a similar healthcare environment.
• Strong commercial and business development mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new customers and grow existing accounts.
• Experience working directly with surgeons and hospital stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand complex clinical needs and translate them into commercial opportunities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• A results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Orthopaedics sales performance within your assigned territory.
• Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Identify new customers, hospitals, surgeons, and business opportunities.
• Develop leads into qualified opportunities and convert opportunities into sales.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to expand the use of Materialise solutions within existing accounts.
• Proactively generate new business rather than relying on inbound opportunities.
