Job summary

Victaulic is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Zottegem, Belgium. You will troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement across identified areas, ensuring safety standards and leading project reviews on cost, schedule and technical performance.

The role requires collaboration with the Fab Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, be able to work independently, travel up to 40%, and demonstrate strong

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering is required.
• Ability to travel up to 40% is expected.
• Process improvement experience is required.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Abide by all safety rules and maintain safe working conditions.
• Conduct safety training topics as required and lead toolbox talks.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and document/root-cause actions.
• Develop solutions for complex problems affecting plant layout, design and construction.
• Serve as primary contact for local facilities projects and lead reviews of cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Coordinate with Fab Manager to maintain quality of all work processes and prepare regular reports.
• Lead ongoing improvement of fabrication processes and benchmark best practices globally.
• Ensure FEM program is implemented and TPM programs are in place and followed.
