AVASO Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Onsite Field Engineer for Olen, Belgium. You will deliver on-site and remote desktop support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and install and maintain desktop systems and peripherals to keep endpoints secure and up-to-date.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in desktop support, strong cross-OS skills (Windows, Mac, Linux), and familiarity with ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Desktop Support or similar role.
• Strong experience with Windows OS, Mac OS, and Linux environments.
• Experience with Active Directory for user management and security.
• Proficient with remote desktop tools and troubleshooting.
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and productivity software.
• Expertise in hardware diagnostics and repair.
• Knowledge of system imaging and deployment tools (SCCM, MDT).
• Familiar with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain tech to non-technical users.
• Fluency in English (must); French or Dutch acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site and remote desktop support for users, resolving issues quickly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Deploy operating systems, updates, and software packages.
• Collaborate with IT team to escalate issues as needed.
• Perform routine system audits and ensure security.
• Provide end-user training and technical documentation.
• Manage support tickets for internal stakeholders.
