Wlgroup is seeking an IT Support Technician to manage desktops, printers, and network devices at a multinational defence site in Mons, Belgium. You will install, configure and repair equipment on-site, ensuring smooth operations for deskbound and mobile users.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, deployment packaging, and security/compliance tasks within an Active Directory environment.

Qualifications

Must have CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional qualification.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
Experience with Active Directory objects, user accounts and permissions.
Three years in a communications and information systems environment.
Three years supporting users, desktop hardware and desktop software; IT administration role.
Solid grasp of how personal computers are built and rolled out.
Experience with current operating systems and office automation software.

Responsabilités

Install, maintain and operate workstations, printers and network devices.
Set up commercial software on networked and standalone machines; network client software.
Configure local server software and peripherals.
Create and maintain user access; troubleshoot for desks and mobile devices.
Work with Active Directory and group policy.
Handle support requests, work orders and queue items.
Package software for automatic deployment across devices.
Contribute to security compliance and remediation work.
Log changes and assets via the service-management toolkit.
