Job summary

Spektrum supports NATO NCIA headquarters with a Health and Safety role focused on implementing and maintaining OHS compliance at the Brussels base and across sites. The role requires a strong foundation in ISO 45001, risk assessment, and training delivery.

The successful candidate will draft procedures, conduct audits, support incident investigations, and coordinate emergency preparedness while aligning with national regulations and safety policies during the HQ relocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience
• Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and ISO 45001
• Experience implementing OHS procedures, conducting risk assessments, and supporting inspections and investigations
• Understanding of relevant laws and standards
• Ability to design and deliver health and safety training programs

Responsibilities

• Act as Health and Safety Administrator at the base and other sites
• Draft and implement OHS procedures aligned with ISO 45001
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Plan and deliver health and safety training and awareness activities
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and liaise with health services
• Prepare reports on OHS activity and support budget submissions
• Support HQ relocation by ensuring safety compliance and transitions
• Coordinate OHS aspects of the HQ Building Project with CQO and Transition PM
