Job summary

Axiom Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a capable Network Engineer to join our IT team in Belgium. You will provide on-site and on-call end-user support within a busy enterprise environment, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.

Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining desktops/servers, configuring networks (routing, switching, VLANs), VPNs, and security policies, plus assisting with onboarding/offboarding and asset documentation. A 2+ year hands-on experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in network administration and IT support.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone, or in-person.
• Provide first- and second-level desktop and device support.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Set up and configure new employee workstations, including user accounts and permissions.
• Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus, patching, and data protection policies.
• Maintain asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of IT equipment.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on escalated issues or project‑related tasks.
