Job summary

Envista's Medicim software center in Mechelen (Belgium) is seeking a senior software engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of server applications, write code, perform reviews, and help maintain high code quality for the DTX Studio suite.

You will work with C# and .NET, CosmosDB, REST APIs, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps, while collaborating with React-based front-ends and supporting the technical roadmap. The role requires 4x/week onsite and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in development of high quality software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET and related frameworks.
• Experience with CosmosDB and RESTful web services/API design.
• Good knowledge of Azure Functions andAzure architecture.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is an asset.
• Experience with React is an asset.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• You take part in the technical design and implementation of server applications.
• This includes writing code, performing code review, writing and executing unit testing amongst others.
• You monitor and control the code quality.
• This includes ensuring correct code review, decent unit tests, continuous integration and follow-up of coding guidelines amongst others.
• As an Azure expert, you share your knowledge with other team members.
• You follow-up on trends and provide input for the technical roadmap.
• You detect, treat and solve issues, communicate and educate solution to the team.
• Assist in 3rd Level support cases and support with software testing

Job Requirements

• Master degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in development of high quality software solutions with clear focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Good knowledge of relevant programming languages and supporting frameworks (C#, .NET, ..)
• Experience with CosmosDB Experience on Restful web services and API design.
• Good knowledge on Azure Functions and architecture.
• Experience with Azure Devops is an asset.

This role is based in Mechelen, with 4x/week onsite requirement.
