Job summary

Envista's Medicim software center in Mechelen (Belgium) is seeking a senior software engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of server applications, write code, perform reviews, and help maintain high code quality for the DTX Studio suite.

You will work with C# and .NET, CosmosDB, REST APIs, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps, while collaborating with React-based front-ends and supporting the technical roadmap. The role requires 4x/week onsite and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in development of high quality software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET and related frameworks.
• Experience with CosmosDB and RESTful web services/API design.
• Good knowledge of Azure Functions andAzure architecture.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is an asset.
• Experience with React is an asset.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Take part in the technical design and implementation of server applications.
• Write code, perform code review, write and execute unit tests.
• Monitor and control code quality, ensuring reviews and tests follow guidelines.
• Share knowledge as an Azure expert and contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Detect, treat and solve issues; communicate and educate the team.
• Assist in 3rd level support cases and support software testing.
