Job summary

Envista Medicim in Mechelen, Belgium, develops leading dental software solutions, including DTX Studio. We seek a senior software engineer with strong Azure expertise to contribute to design, development, testing and CI/CD for server applications.

The role focuses on writing code, reviewing, MT testing, and guiding the team on coding practices while staying aligned with the technical roadmap. English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in development of high quality software solutions with clear focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, HTML.
• Experience on Restful web services and API design.
• Good knowledge on Azure Functions and architecture.
• Experience with Azure Devops is an asset.
• Open and good communicator.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Role Overview

For our .NET team, we are looking for a senior software engineer, who has a profound knowledge in Azure: You take part in the technical design and implementation of server applications. This includes writing code, performing code review, writing and executing unit testing amongst others. You monitor and control the code quality. This includes ensuring correct code review, decent unit tests, continuous integration and follow-up of coding guidelines amongst others. As an Azure expert, you share your knowledge with other team members. You follow-up on trends and provide input for the technical roadmap. You detect, treat and solve issues, communicate and educate solution to the team. Assist in 3rd Level support cases and support with software testing.
