Jobtailor is seeking a technically skilled specialist to work with defence and security clients. You will design and deploy Palantir Foundry data pipelines, ontology models, and operator-facing apps, ensuring seamless integration of live intelligence into command-and-control tools.

The role requires deep software engineering experience, proficiency in Python/Java/SQL, and the ability to operate in secure, on-site environments across Europe.

Qualifications

Strong engineering background in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics or an equally technical field.
Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience with pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories, Workbooks and application development.
Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash or Go.
Three years or more of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering experience shipping systems into production.
Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models and reason about technical decisions' operational impact.
Experience with containers such as Docker or Podman and orchestration such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Solid Linux, networking and on-premise fundamentals.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to travel and work on site in secure customer facilities.
Right to work in the EU, or be UK-based
Security clearance
Nice to have: experience delivering software in classified, air-gapped or disconnected environments
Nice to have: defence, intelligence, national-security or emergency-management background
Nice to have: geospatial platforms and common-operating-picture tooling such as Esri or ArcGIS, or command-and-control systems
Nice to have: front-end frameworks and data-rich operator applications
Nice to have: familiarity with NATO and national defence accreditation and compliance
Nice to have: a second European language

Responsabilités
