Jobtailor is seeking a highly capable engineer to engage with defence and security users, designing and deploying Palantir Foundry pipelines and operator-facing apps. You will integrate live intelligence into workflows and create custom widgets, owning projects end-to-end from whiteboard to deployment.

You will travel in Europe about 25–75%, work on on-premise or restricted environments, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while maintaining security compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in computer science or equivalent technical field.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience: pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Workbooks, app development.
• Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, or Go.
• Three or more years of professional software engineering or forward-deployed experience shipping production systems.
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models.
• Experience with Docker or Podman containers and Kubernetes or OpenShift orchestration.
• Solid Linux, networking, and on-premise fundamentals.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and work on site in secure customer facilities.
• Candidates must have the right to work in the EU, or be UK-based; security clearance required.

Requirements

• Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, or Go
• Three or more years of professional software engineering or forward-deployed/solutions engineering experience shipping systems into production
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models
• Experience with Docker or Podman containers and Kubernetes or OpenShift orchestration
