Job summary

CHANEL in Brussels is seeking a Merchandising Assistant intern to support visual merchandising and retail operations across Benelux and Scandinavia. The role spans at least 6 months, starting January 2027, working with the Merchandising Manager and the F&B Merchandiser to bring merchandising strategies to life in stores.

You will collaborate with sales teams, suppliers and internal departments to execute launches, ensure brand guidelines, and improve product visibility.

Qualifications

• Currently studying marketing, retail management, merchandising or a related field.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support visual merchandising and retail operations for Fragrance & Beauty stores across Benelux and Scandinavia.
• Assist Merchandising Manager and F&B Merchandiser; collaborate with sales teams, suppliers and internal departments.
• Prepare planograms, manage orders and brief teams for each launch to keep in-store presentation consistent.
• Analyse POS configuration data and help adapt in-store displays to improve product visibility.
• Support new POS openings from briefing to installation and resolve POS issues with suppliers as main contact.
