Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Mechatronics Technician for an on-site role in Zwevezele, Belgium. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on highly automated production equipment, covering mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

The position requires reading electrical drawings, strict safety/quality focus, and willingness to work a 2-shift pattern with on-call duties. Fluent Dutch or English is desired.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance and diagnosing technical faults.
• Ability to read electrical and technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality; able to work independently and in a team; willing to work a 2-shift pattern and participate in on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on highly automated production equipment.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Support technical improvement, maintenance and equipment optimisation projects.
• Record completed maintenance activities within the maintenance management system.

On-site commitment - Full Time, 2-Shift (05:00 - 13:00 / 14:00 - 22:00)
