Darwin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician for a highly automated manufacturing environment with weekend shifts. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of automated production machinery, diagnosing breakdowns, and implementing improvements across the site.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, experience with PLCs, pneumatics, motors and sensors, and can work independently within East Flanders’ commutable radius.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electromechanical / Maintenance / Breakdown Technician.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with industrial or production machinery.
• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, motors and sensors.
• Comfortable working 12-hour weekend shifts.
• Based within a commutable distance of East Flanders.
• Experience in food, FMCG or automated manufacturing would be an advantage.

Looking for an experienced Electromechanical Technician who wants to work weekends within a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Weekend Shift

05:00-17:00 / 17:00-05:00

What will you be doing?

• Preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production machinery
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical breakdowns
• Troubleshooting and repairing technical faults
• Working with motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics and PLC-controlled equipment
• Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime
• Supporting technical improvements across the production site

What do you need?

• Experience as an Electromechanical / Maintenance / Breakdown Technician
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Experience with industrial or production machinery
• Confident fault-finding and repairing breakdowns independentlyKnowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, motors and sensors
• Comfortable working 12-hour weekend shifts
• Able to work independently and take ownership of technical problems
• Based within a commutable distance of East Flanders

Experience within food, FMCG or automated manufacturing would be an advantage.
