Job summary

Synergie Mechelen zoekt een Maintenance Technician voor Grimbergen. Je werkt in een roterende dienst van 6h-14h en 14h-22h, met focus op technisch onderhoud en snelle probleemoplossing aan mechanische en elektrische systemen.

De ideale kandidaat heeft een engineering-achtergrond, hands-on instelling en kan zowel in teamverband als zelfstandig werken. Goede Engels is vereist, Nederlands is een plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in engineering of the maintenance domain.
• Rotating shifts (6u-14u en 14u-22u) vereist.
• Hands-on en oplettend met een veiligheidsgerichte houding.

Responsibilities

• Zorgen voor onderhoud en reparatie van geautomatiseerde systemen.
• Onderhoud en reparatie van heftrucks.
• Elektrisch en mechanisch onderhoud aan installaties.
• Onderhoud van orderpicking- en reach-trucks en combi-trucks.

For the maintenance department of our client located in Grimbergen we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in the rotating shift (6h-14h and 14h-22h).

This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to repair requests.

Your main tasks as a Maintenance Technician:

• Ensure that the automated systems are maintained and repaired if necessary
• Maintenance and repair of lift trucks
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance work on all kinds of installations
• Maintain the order pickers, reach trucks and combi trucks

Profiel

The Maintenance Technican we are looking for has the following qualities:

• Has an engineering background
• Can work rotating shifts (6h-14h and 14h-22h)
• Ishands-on and dynamic
• Is precise and result-oriented
• Take initiative and responsibility
• Is a team player, but can also work independently
• Has preferably experience with welding
• Good command of English. Dutch is a plus.
