Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join a leading international manufacturer’s automated production site in East Flanders. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, diagnose breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, PLC familiarity, and the ability to work permanent night shifts while taking ownership of breakdowns. Belgium-based, East Flanders region.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electromechanical / Maintenance / Breakdown Technician.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience working with industrial or production machinery.
• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, sensors and motors.
• Comfortable working a permanent night shift.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of breakdowns.
• Based within a commutable distance of East Flanders.

Experience within food, FMCG or automated manufacturing would be a big advantage.
