TrioTech Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead HVAC and critical mechanical systems for a major data centre project.

You will manage the mechanical package from installation through commissioning and handover, coordinating with client teams, subcontractors, suppliers and commissioning crews across Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Project Manager / Mechanical Construction Manager.
• Strong HVAC background.
• Experience working on data centres or other critical environments.
• Good understanding of chilled water and cooling systems.
• Experience managing mechanical subcontractors.
• Comfortable working with AHUs, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, pumps, pipework and BMS.
• Experience taking projects through installation and commissioning.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage the mechanical/HVAC package through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Manage mechanical subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee systems including AHUs, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, pipework and cooling systems.
• Manage the programme, deadlines and day-to-day progress.
• Work closely with BMS, controls, electrical and commissioning teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, RAMS and project documentation.
• Manage technical queries, RFIs and issues through to resolution.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and contractors.
• Make sure systems are ready for pre-commissioning, commissioning and IST.
• Support final testing, snagging and handover.

Mechanical Project Manager - Data Centre

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a major data centre project, focusing on HVAC and critical mechanical systems.

You’ll be responsible for managing the mechanical package from installation through to commissioning and handover, working with the client, subcontractors, suppliers and commissioning teams.

We’re looking for someone who has delivered HVAC projects ideally in data centres or other critical environments and is comfortable managing both the technical and day-to-day project delivery.
