Job summary

Mane Contract Services seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for a major international data centre project in Mons, Belgium. You will lead electrical engineering activities, review technical information, and coordinate CAD/BIM-driven design across disciplines to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience with a recognised M&E contractor, strong project coordination skills, and familiarity with Primavera.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a recognised M&E contractor.
• Strong electrical engineering and construction experience.
• Proven experience coordinating electrical installation projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical design and construction processes.
• CAD/BIM experience.
• Familiarity with Primavera or similar planning software.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical engineering activities and assigned systems.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Coordinate electrical design through CAD/BIM teams.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries and submittals.
• Provide engineering support to site installation teams.
• Coordinate electrical installation, QA and construction work packs.
• Support BIM coordination, modularisation and fabrication.
• Monitor engineering deliverables against the project programme.
• Support electrical procurement, material take-offs and supplier assessments.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and engineering requirements.
• Support testing, validation, snagging and client handover.
• Assist with variations, valuations and commercial reporting.
• Promote a strong Right First-Time culture.

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong M&E contractor background and experience delivering complex electrical projects?

We’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity on a major international data centre project in Mons, Belgium, where you’ll play a key role across engineering, design coordination, procurement, installation, BIM, quality and project delivery.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing electrical engineering activities and assigned systems
• Reviewing IFC drawings, specifications and technical information
• Coordinating electrical design through CAD/BIM teams
• Managing RFIs, technical queries and technical submittals
• Providing engineering support to site installation teams
• Coordinating electrical installation, QA and construction work packs
• Supporting BIM coordination, modularisation and fabrication
• Monitoring engineering deliverables against the project programme
