Access Talent Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the full mechanical package on a major data centre project in Belgium. The role is site-based with a full rotation package, working closely with the client, main contractor and design teams to deliver on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

The successful candidate will oversee mechanical installation teams, procurement, and coordination with electrical trades, while maintaining strict health, safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale mechanical projects.
• Strong experience with mechanical contracting or specialist MEP contractor environments.
• Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Strong technical understanding of large-scale HVAC systems and building services.
• Experience managing full mechanical package from construction through commissioning and handover.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers and installation teams.
• Strong programme and project management experience.
• Good commercial awareness including variations, procurement and cost control.
• Confident communicating with clients, consultants and main contractors.

Responsabilités

• Take overall responsibility for delivering the mechanical package on site and coordinate from construction to handover.
• Lead and coordinate mechanical installation teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage the project programme and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with client, main contractor, consultants and other disciplines.
• Review designs, drawings and technical documentation and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
• Maintain focus on health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
