Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional to support operations and develop robust manufacturing processes that meet safety, quality, cost and lead time targets. You will drive continuous improvement, implement digital systems, and ensure compliance with RRMS, SABRe and export controls.

The role requires understanding of manufacturing engineering processes, systems and tools with a focus on delivering Right First Time results and cost-effective processes

Qualifications

• Professionally Qualified Engineer with UK minimum HND/foundation degree or equivalent.
• Recognised national or international engineering accreditation (IEng/CEng) where available.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the business.
• General awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools relevant to the business.
• Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering processes relevant to their role.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to operations and execute ME activities to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and Zero Harm programme.
• Drive zero defects culture and Right First Time manufacturing.
• Apply manufacturing process controls and authorize where applicable.
• Identify opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes and digital systems.
