Agfa in Belgium's Antwerp region is seeking a Process Engineer for the Production/Finishing Department. You will develop and implement manufacturing methods to ensure production is carried out safely, with high quality and cost efficiency.

Working from within the production environment, you will collaborate with Quality, Engineering & Maintenance, Supply Chain, and business teams to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or professional Bachelor's in a related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience with process analysis and performance management.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and resolve issues arising during the manufacturing process.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities, reducing losses, optimizing processes, and improving equipment reliability.
• Identify and analyze process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency, and lead improvement projects across production and supporting departments.
• Facilitate and support change management activities.
• Ensure that improvements are properly documented, standardized, and embedded within operational processes

The Production/Finishing Department has an exciting opportunity for a results-driven Process Engineer.

You will develop and implement manufacturing methods to ensure production is carried out in the safest, highest-quality, and most cost-effective manner.

Working from within the production environment, you will collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering & Maintenance, Supply Chain, Business teams, and other stakeholders to improve safety, quality, delivery performance, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve issues arising during the manufacturing process.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities, reducing losses, optimizing processes, and improving equipment reliability.
• Identify and analyze process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency, and lead improvement projects across production and supporting departments.
• Facilitate and support change management activities.
• Ensure that improvements are properly documented, standardized, and embedded within operational processes

Profile / Qualifications

• Master's degree or an experienced Professional Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with process analysis, data analysis, and performance management.
• Knowledge of Power BI, OT/IT systems, Six Sigma, or similar analytical tools is considered an asset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to translate ideas into practical improvements.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
