Kemexon Belgium is seeking a Logistics Operator to join our international trading and distribution team. You will coordinate container and bulk shipments day to day, track milestones, and prepare operational updates for the commercial team and our customers.

You will work closely with Trucks Operations and Commercial to ensure deals are executed to customer expectations, be the main contact for partners, carriers and customers, and help improve how we structure follow-up and CTRM data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field is a plus.
• First experience in logistics, forwarding, shipping or operations.
• Interest in physical commodity flows, shipping and international trade.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP or business systems.
• Ability to manage multiple counterparts in an international context.
• Pragmatic mindset and willingness to learn.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch/Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilités

Kemexon Belgium is an international trading and distribution company in the energy sector, focused on physical commodity flows. Our Logistics team coordinates between factories, carriers, forwarders, brokers and customers, across container logistics and bulk cargo operations. To support our growing activity, we are strengthening the team with a Logistics Operator who will work side by side with an experienced maritime operator.

Your role

As Logistics Operator, you will play a key role in making sure every deal we agree on is executed smoothly, from the first shipment to the final invoice:

• You coordinate and follow up container and bulk shipments day to day, tracking key milestones and keeping the team informed of anything that moves off plan.
• You prepare the operational updates that the commercial team and our customers rely on.
• You resolve operational issues and delays, follow up on outstanding actions, and flag risks on running files early rather than late.
• You work closely with Trucks Operations and Commercial so that agreed deals are executed to customer expectations.
• You are the point of contact for partners, carriers and customers on your files.
• You handle invoices from partners and to customers, check documents against what was agreed, chase what is missing, and reconcile the costs of each file once it closes.
• You maintain our CTRM records so operational and financial data stay reliable.
• You help improve how we structure our follow-up and move manual tracking into our systems.

You will be trained by and work alongside an experienced maritime operator who built and documented these processes.

Your profile

• Knowledge in supply chain, logistics, international trade or business (bachelor degree is a plus).
• A first experience in logistics, forwarding, shipping or operations.
• A genuine interest in physical commodity flows, shipping and international trade.
• Comfortable with Excel and with an ERP or business system.
• Able to handle several counterparts in parallel, in an international context.
• A pragmatic mindset and a willingness to learn from an experienced colleague.
• Professional working proficiency in both French and English is required. Dutch, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
