Lighthouse, based in Belgium, is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to drive frontend platform initiatives and accelerate migrations while maintaining quality. You will own AI-assisted frontend tooling, strengthen the design system, and build tools and guardrails for safe, scalable engineering.

You will partner with product engineers and solution architects to translate broad goals into concrete plans and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior frontend engineering experience and ability to turn broad goals into clear actions.
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript and migrating large codebases.
• Experience with design systems and frontend tooling.
• Experience guiding teams and coordinating across product and AI teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead frontend platform initiatives to accelerate Lighthouse’s frontend work while keeping quality high.
• Drive Ember to React migration, strengthen the design system, and improve tooling and guardrails.
• Own AI-assisted frontend tooling and contribute to shared foundations and delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with product engineers and solution architects to understand needs and drive adoption.
• Define actionable plans, track delivery progress, and communicate status.
