Lighthouse is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer in Belgium to drive frontend platform initiatives, migrate from Ember to React, and strengthen our design system. You will own AI-assisted tooling and collaborate with engineers and architects to deliver high-quality frontend code.

This senior role emphasizes owning plans, delivering with speed and quality, and advancing our AI-enabled frontend ecosystem for product teams and AI agents.

Qualifications

• Senior-level frontend engineering experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript guiding migrations.
• Experience with AI development tools and guardrails for safe usage.
• Excellent project-management, planning, and cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to architect scalable frontend platforms and design systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead frontend platform initiatives and migrate Ember to React.
• Strengthen the design system and improve tooling, education, and guardrails.
• Own AI-assisted frontend tooling and enhance frontend harness.
• Collaborate with product engineers and solution architects to drive adoption.
• Define work plans, track delivery, and communicate progress.
