Medical Project Manager – Intercontinental Region (Junior)

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming the lives of patients suffering from severe diseases. To support their expanding Intercontinental (IC) Medical Region, they are looking for an energetic and organized Medical Project Manager to join their regional headquarters in Brussels.

Role Overview:

As a Medical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in enabling operational excellence across the Intercontinental region within two major therapeutic areas: Immunology and Rare & Epilepsy.

You will work closely with regional medical leads, country teams, and global stakeholders to streamline medical projects, manage insights, optimize digital tools, and support cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Insights & Governance: Set up, facilitate, and maintain recurring medical insights committees across the IC region in collaboration with therapeutic leads.
• Performance Tracking & KPIs: Drive tracking of medical performance, aligning and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) across countries.
• Digital Adoption: Promote the adoption and effective use of digital engagement platforms and analytical tools (e.g., Qliksense, ORBIT).
• Capability & Onboarding Support: Support newcomer onboarding programmes and country medical capability roadmaps alongside Global teams.
• Medical Congresses Logistics: Support room bookings, attendance tracking, and expert encounter coordination for major cross-country medical congresses in the region.
• Community & Channel Management: Manage access, organize, and regularly update regional SharePoint sites and Teams channels.

Profile Requirements:

• Education: Master’s Degree (Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or Healthcare Management preferred).
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in project management (junior profile).
• Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
• Languages: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, matrix-structured organization.
• Highly organized, proactive, and digitally savvy.
