IT Support Specialist
As an IT Support Specialist, you ensure that our digital workplace runs smoothly for colleagues in Ghent, Brussels, and Roeselare. You will work in a modern IT environment where specialized software applications, design platforms, and collaboration tools come together. Our document and project storage is primarily based on SharePoint, while our entire back office is managed via AFAS ERP, connected to Active Directory, CRM, and the payroll office. In addition, we focus on automation and reporting using tools such as Power BI and Power Automate. You will combine daily IT support with managing and further developing our digital workplace.
Your role
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT questions and efficiently follow up on incidents and service tickets.
- Manage Microsoft Intune software deployment and roll out work devices via Autopilot.
- Support our infrastructure and digital workplace, including VMware virtualization, HP Anyware remote desktops, HP Aruba WiFi, and Fortigate firewall.
- Manage IT assets (registration, lifecycle, and deliveries) and assist in documenting IT processes and user guides.
- Support and maintain various applications such as SharePoint, AFAS ERP, and design software (Adobe).
- Work closely with the IT Manager and external partners to maintain a stable and efficient IT environment.
Your profile
- You have an IT education or a strong interest in IT support and modern workplace technologies. Motivated recent graduates are welcome.
- You are familiar with or have an interest in technologies such as Intune, Autopilot, VMware, HP Anyware, HP Aruba WiFi, and SharePoint.
- Experience with AFAS ERP, Power BI, or Power Automate is a plus.
- You work in a structured way, are problem‑solving oriented, and enjoy helping colleagues.
- You are communicative and customer‑focused in providing internal support.
- You are willing to travel between our offices in Ghent, Brussels, and Roeselare.
