Klarrio BV in Antwerp is seeking an IT Support Engineer to help ensure business continuity by maintaining the internal network, devices and IT systems. You will translate business IT requirements into practical support for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• End-to-end IT equipment lifecycle management across Linux, macOS, and Windows.

• Proactive monitoring, alerting and preventive maintenance.
• IT service desk operations with SLA-driven ticket resolution.
• Cross-functional support for engineering and non-engineering teams.

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer

As Klarrio’s IT support engineer, you will help ensure business continuity and provide support for Klarrio’s internal network, devices and IT systems.

Your true strength lies in the ability to absorb the IT requirements of the business and translate them into service and support for its stakeholders.

Your challenges and responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Klarrio’s internal IT devices and network in order to allow the business to operate effectively.
• Support our teams in their day-to-day IT operational issues and needs.
• Provision and support the IT systems in place.
• Communicate clearly on any IT issues so our teams stay informed.
• Capture any IT requirements needed to improve the efficiency of the tools.
• Help implement and extend the capabilities of the local but cloud-native solution.

Ideally, you possess the following qualifications:

• End-to-end IT equipment lifecycle management. (provisioning Linux, Mac, and Windows, deployments, maintenance, decommissioning)
• Enterprise endpoint support: laptops, workstations, printers, conferencing AV.
• Server infrastructure administration. (physical and virtual, containerized environment)
• Proactive monitoring, alerting and preventive maintenance.
• IT service desk operations and SLA driven ticket resolution.
• Cross functional support for engineering and non-engineering teams.

Extra assets are:

Networking and Infrastructure

• LAN/WAN design, configuration and troubleshooting.
• DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP and network protocol analysis.
• VPN implementation.
• Wireless network planning, security and AP management.
• Network device provisioning, firmware updates and VLAN segmentation.

Cloud and Hybrid systems

• Support for hybrid cloud architectures: On-prem and public cloud.
• Identity and Access management, Keycloak.
• Backup/Restore between local infrastructure and cloud.

Security and Compliance

• Endpoint hardening and OS patch management. (Windows, macOS and Linux)
• Zero Trust principles and least privilege access enforcement.
