• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Operational understanding of IT service lines; developing expertise in Manufacturing IT, Networking, Compute, or Desktop Services.
• Hands-on and remote technical support experience, including troubleshooting and end-user assistance.
• Experience with incident management, change management, service desk tools, and project delivery methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams across sites and countries.
• Willingness to travel as needed for installations and requirements.

We are looking for a talented IT Operations Support Specialist to join our team for our IT department in Rumst, Belgium

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Provide reliable day-to-day operational support that ensures IT systems remain available, accurate, secure, and effective for end users.
• Deliver timely resolution of technical issues by troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• Support new employees with seamless technology onboarding, including hardware setup, system access, and user enablement.
• Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and service quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, and authorized system changes to minimize disruptions and maintain operational excellence.
• Contribute to disaster recovery readiness and business continuity efforts, helping ensure resilience across supported IT environments.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver break/fix activities, installations, and service improvements that meet business needs.
• Support regional IT projects and operational initiatives across multiple service lines, driving successful outcomes through collaboration, process compliance, and customer-focused service delivery.

Education/ Experience:

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Basic operational understanding of IT service lines, with developing expertise in one or more areas such as Manufacturing IT, Networking, Communications Services, Compute Facilities, Application Hosting, Hard Copy, or Desktop Services.
• Experience providing hands-on and remote technical support, including troubleshooting, equipment deployment, maintenance, and end-user assistance.
• Experience working with service management processes, including incident management, change management, service desk tools, and project delivery methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams while supporting operational and project-related activities across multiple sites and countries.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed to support operational requirements, installations, and project implementations.
