Description du poste

About Our Client

Our client is a well‑established international financial services organization with a strong local presence in Belgium. To support its continued growth and digital transformation, they are looking for an IT Coordinator who will act as the key liaison between the local business, international IT teams, and external technology partners.

This is a highly visible role offering a balanced mix of operational service management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and project delivery. Rather than being a hands‑on technical expert, you will ensure that IT services are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with both local business needs and international standards.

Job Description
Application & Service Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business applications.
  • Coordinate IT service delivery throughout the entire lifecycle, including incidents, changes, releases, and performance management.
  • Oversee and monitor Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes.
  • Manage external suppliers, including service levels, contracts, costs, quality, and performance.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, international IT teams, and service providers to deliver sustainable and effective solutions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with group IT governance and control frameworks.
IT Infrastructure, Network & Digital Workplace
  • Coordinate infrastructure and digital workplace services in partnership with international IT teams and external vendors.
  • Monitor the quality and availability of workplace technologies, including hardware, networking, and telephony services.
  • Oversee incident management processes and ensure timely escalation to the appropriate teams.
  • Support the alignment of global IT standards and processes with local operational requirements.
  • Represent the local organization within international IT communities and initiatives.
Project Management & Product Ownership
  • Coordinate and follow up on IT projects involving internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Translate business requirements into practical IT solutions, acting as the bridge between local business needs and the central IT roadmap.
  • Ensure successful implementation and delivery of technology solutions within agreed timelines and scope.
  • Manage project scope, planning, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international colleagues and key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, innovation, and service improvement.
IT Governance, Compliance & Administration
  • Monitor IT‑related expenditures, invoices, and budgets.
  • Contribute to IT risk and control frameworks, including regulatory requirements such as DORA, GDPR, and MiFID II.
  • Ensure IT services comply with internal policies and external regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor and continuously improve IT processes within the local business environment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for audits and compliance‑related activities.
  • Support Business Continuity initiatives through planning, testing, and safeguarding critical business processes.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent through relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an IT‑related role.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments is considered an asset.
  • Strong service‑oriented mindset with the ability to coordinate and drive initiatives forward.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
  • Able to connect people, facilitate collaboration, and navigate across different levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with great attention to detail.
  • Quality‑driven with a focus on service continuity and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a strong advantage.
What's on Offer
  • A broad and impactful IT coordination role with significant responsibility.
  • The opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, business, and governance.
  • A collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • The agility and accessibility of a local organization combined with the resources of a larger international group.
  • Short decision‑making lines and approachable leadership.
  • A people‑focused culture built on teamwork, trust, and professional development.
  • A personalized development path with both formal training and on‑the‑job learning opportunities.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • A competitive salary package and attractive fringe benefits in line with the financial services sector.
