Technology & Risk Recruitment seeks an IT Business Analyst for mobile applications in Brussels on a hybrid basis. The role emphasizes structuring and delivering mobile apps from user journeys to UX/UI, development, testing and UAT.

We require 6–8+ years as an IT BA, solid mobile digital product experience, and strong collaboration with UX/UI, development and QA teams in a multinational environment. Fluency in French or Dutch and English is essential.

• Proven experience on mobile application development or mobile digital products.
• Strong understanding of user journeys and end-to-end digital experiences.
• Experience translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications, epics and acceptance criteria.
• Strong backlog management and Agile delivery experience, including UAT support.
• Fluent French or Dutch and strong English in multinational environments.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across business, tech and UX/UI.

Role: IT Business Analyst – Mobile Applications

Working model: Hybrid

TRR is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong expertise in mobile application development and digital product delivery.

This is not a generic Business Analyst position. We are specifically looking for someone who understands how to structure and deliver mobile applications, from user journeys and functional requirements through to UX/UI, development, testing and UAT.

Key responsibilities:

• Gather, challenge and clarify business and user requirements.
• Define and structure detailed end-to-end user journeys.
• Identify variants, exceptions, error scenarios, offline scenarios, real-time dependencies and accessibility requirements.
• Translate business needs into features, screens, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare functional UX/UI specifications, including screen structures, wireflows and functional behaviours.
• Define application states including loading, error, empty, offline and edge cases.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure consistency across journeys and screens.
• Own and maintain a clear, actionable product backlog.
• Structure dependencies and prepare Agile refinement sessions.
• Work closely with developers and technical teams to clarify expected behaviour.
• Support QA and UAT activities, including functional testing and UAT scenarios.
• Maintain functional documentation and repositories in Confluence.
• Facilitate workshops with business, technical and UX/UI stakeholders.
• Identify inconsistencies and propose pragmatic solutions.

You will be responsible for producing and maintaining:

What we're looking for:

• 6–8+ years' experience as an IT Business Analyst / Functional Analyst.
• Proven experience working on mobile application development or mobile digital products — this is essential.
• Strong understanding of user journeys and end-to-end digital experiences.
• Experience translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Strong experience with user stories, epics, acceptance criteria and backlog management.
• Experience working closely with UX/UI, development and QA teams.
• Experience supporting UAT and Agile delivery.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops and working with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent French OR Dutch.
• English communication skills suitable for a multinational working environment.

You'll be someone who can take a complex business requirement, challenge it where necessary, understand the real user need and turn it into a clear, structured mobile application journey that development and UX/UI teams can actually deliver.
