We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. The role involves defining user journeys, translating business needs, and coordinating with UX/UI, development and QA teams. MUST BE EXPERT IN MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Key responsibilities

• Define and structure user journeys and business processes.

• Translate business requirements into detailed functionalities, features and user stories.

• Maintain traceability from journey to acceptance criteria.

• Prepare UX/UI specifications such as screen meshes, states and wireflows.

• Manage the product backlog, writing epics, stories and acceptance criteria.

• Coordinate delivery, participate in workshops and support QA/UAT.

• Gather business and user requirements

• Challenge the demands in order to clarify the real objectives.

• Structuring user journeys

• Identify pain points and complex cases

• Prioritize needs with the Product Owner and the PM

2. Structuring User Journeys

• Define end-to-end user journeys

• Break down the routes into detailed steps

• Identifier :

  • variants

  • exceptions

• Ensure complete coverage of critical routes

3. Transformation Journey → Features → Screens → Stories

The BA will need to structure and maintain complete traceability:

User Journey: → Features→ Screens→ User Stories→ Acceptance Criteria

4. UX/UI Preparation

The BA prepares the elements necessary for the work of the designers:

• definition of the screen mesh

• description of functional behaviors

• definition of states:

  • loading

  • error

  • empty

  • offline

  • edge cases

The BA works closely with the UX/UI Designers to ensure consistency in user journeys.

5. Backlog Management

• Write the Epics and User Stories

• Define the Acceptance Criteria

• Structuring dependencies

• Prepare the refinements

• Maintain a clear and actionable backlog

6. Coordination delivery

• Collaborating with technical teams to clarify expected behaviors

• Participate in UX/UI workshops

• Participate in Agile refinements

• Supporting the QA/UAT teams

• Maintaining functional documentation in Confluence

• Structuring functional repositories

• Ensuring documentary consistency
