Job summary

BESIX Group invites motivated students in construction engineering or related fields to join Belgium-based internships. You will assist Technical Office Engineers and Site Superintendents, helping with schedules, site coordination, and documentation while gaining hands-on experience on large-scale projects.

Interested candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, willing to work at Belgian sites (buildings, civil works, maritime works), and capable of 4–6 weeks of full-time

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in civil or industrial construction engineering, architectural engineering, or electromechanical engineering.
• Internship period should last at least 4 full weeks (preferably 6+ weeks). Please mention internship period with application.
• You speak Dutch/French and have good knowledge of English.
• You are analytical, autonomous and driven.
• You are communicative, initiative-driven and a team player.
• You are flexible and proactive when facing problems and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and follow-up of work schedules and construction methodologies.
• Support the coordination and monitoring of daily site activities.
• Participate in the follow-up of subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and site administration.
• Attend site meetings and assist in monitoring project progress.
• Help ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to support successful execution of works.

Job Description

Are you a student in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field and looking for an internship in Belgium? Great news! BESIX is continuously looking for motivated interns eager to contribute to large-scale and complex construction projects.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support our Technical Office Engineers and Site Superintendents in their daily activities while gaining valuable hands‑on experience on one of our construction sites.
