BESIX Group is seeking motivated interns in construction engineering to contribute to large-scale projects across Belgium. You will support Technical Office Engineers and Site Superintendents with daily activities and gain hands-on experience on construction sites.

Ideal candidates are pursuing civil/industrial construction or related engineering degrees, available for 4+ weeks, and fluent in Dutch or French with good English. Join a dynamic, inclusive team working on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/industrial construction engineering, architectural engineering, or electromechanical engineering.
• Internship duration of at least 4 weeks (preferably 6 weeks or more); please mention internship period with application.
• Dutch or French language; good knowledge of English.
• Analytical, autonomous and driven; communicative and team-oriented.
• Willing to work on sites in Belgium (buildings, civil works, maritime works).

Responsabilités

• Assist in the preparation and follow‑up of work schedules and construction methodologies.
• Coordinate and monitor daily site activities.
• Follow up subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and site administration.
• Attend site meetings and monitor project progress.
• Help ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to support execution of works.

Are you a student in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field and looking for an internship in Belgium? Great news! BESIX is continuously looking for motivated interns eager to contribute to large-scale and complex construction projects.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support our Technical Office Engineers and Site Superintendents in their daily activities while gaining valuable hands‑on experience on one of our construction sites.

Your mission:

Qualifications

• You are interested in completing an internship at one of our sites in Belgium (buildings, civil works, maritime works);
• Your internship period should last at least 4 full weeks (preferably 6 full weeks or more).Please mention your internship period with your application;
• You speak Dutch/French and you have good knowledge of English;
• You are analytical, autonomous and driven;
