Job summary

BESIX is seeking motivated students for an internship in Belgium in Civil/Construction Engineering, Architecture or related fields. You will work in our Engineering Office in Brussels, gaining hands-on experience on major projects.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, contribute to methods, planning, BIM, design, geotechnics, sustainability, and fabrication processes, depending on your background.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor/master degree in civil/industrial engineering or architecture.
• Internship in our study office in Brussels.
• Internship period of at least 4 full weeks (preferably 6+). Mention period with application.
• Dutch or French language skills and good English knowledge.
• Analytical, autonomous, driven, communicative and a true team player.
• Flexible and proactive toward potential problems and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in technical preparation and execution of construction projects.
• Assist in development of methodologies, technical studies, and engineering solutions.

Job Description

Are you a student in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and looking for an internship in Belgium? Great! BESIX is continuously looking for motivated interns eager to contribute to large and complex projects.

During your internship in our Engineering Office, you will work alongside experienced engineers and experts, gaining hands-on experience in the technical preparation and optimization of major construction projects. Depending on your interests and background, you may have the opportunity to contribute to disciplines such as methods & planning, BIM, design, geotechnics, sustainability, facades, concrete structures, or special techniques.

Your mission
