EFRAG offers internships in its financial reporting activities. As an intern, you will support EFRAG’s financial reporting work in influencing the development of IFRS Accounting Standards and providing endorsement advice on IFRS Accounting Standards.

There is also an opportunity to work on the connectivity between financial and sustainability reporting. The internship role involves supporting the work of EFRAG's technical staff in drafting technical documents, engaging with governance bodies

Qualifications

• Interest in financial or sustainability reporting standard‑setting.
• Basic awareness of main reporting standards.
• Ability to gather and analyse qualitative and quantitative data.
• Good teamwork and communication skills in English.
• EEA nationality and willingness to relocate to Brussels.
• In final year of Master’s or completed Master’s in accounting (IFRS).

Responsabilités

Internship Overview

EFRAG offers internships in its financial reporting activities. As an intern, you will support EFRAG’s financial reporting work in influencing the development of IFRS Accounting Standards and providing endorsement advice on IFRS Accounting Standards.

There is also an opportunity to work on the connectivity between financial and sustainability reporting.

The internship role involves supporting the work of EFRAG's technical staff in drafting technical documents, engaging with governance bodies (EFRAG Reporting Technical Expert Groups and Reporting Boards), participating in working groups, and outreach to a broad range of external stakeholders including preparers, users, national standard setters, auditors, and regulators.

Through the internship, you will gain unique professional experience in corporate reporting standard‑setting in a dynamic, multi‑cultural environment and have direct interaction with a rich network of corporate reporting stakeholders.

• Period: Recruitment on continuous basis, 6 months (renewal possible for one term of 6 months).
• Hours: Full‑time (38 hrs/week)
• Allowance: Contribution to living costs, meal tickets + transport allowance

Qualifications

• Intellectual curiosity and keenness to learn more about either financial or sustainability reporting standard‑setting.
• Basic awareness of main reporting standards and frameworks.
• Ability to gather and analyse qualitative and quantitative data, and draft high‑quality short reports.
• Good team player.
• Proactive, organised individuals capable of managing multiple tasks and communicating regularly to manage expectations.
• Good communication skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Have EEA nationality and be willing to relocate to Brussels during the internship.
• Must be in the final year of Master’s or have finalized Master’s in accounting, including advanced courses on IFRS related topics.
