Job summary

Eurostar is seeking a Route Supervisor North to join the Operational Control Centre in Brussels. You will coordinate with infrastructure managers in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, manage train paths, monitor network availability and react to disruptions in real time to ensure safe, reliable cross-border services.

The role requires solid operational experience, the ability to communicate in German in a professional environment, and strong prioritization and decision-making under pressure.

Qualifications

• EQF level 5 qualification required.
• At least five years of operational experience in rail, aviation or transportation.
• Knowledge of rail operations on Belgian, German or Dutch networks is a plus.
• Ability to quickly analyze a situation, set priorities and communicate precise information.
• Capable of working under pressure with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Interface with DB Netz and Infrabel for Eurostar traffic in Germany and in Brussels/Foret region.
• Request and adjust train paths and communicate changes in the transport plan.
• Gather network availability information and anticipate disruptions.
• Assess operational impact of infrastructure decisions.
• Coordinate with NS International for train operations in the Netherlands.
• Apply disruption and incident management procedures to support safety and continuity.
• Record delays and events and ensure proper handover between shifts.
• Pass relevant information to the Duty Shift Leader and OCC colleagues.
