Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer for a Genk-based role with a well-established rotating equipment specialist. You will combine technical knowledge of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and drives with customer-facing sales support in an office-based setting.

You’ll prepare quotations, advise customers by phone and email, coordinate repairs with the workshop, and back up external Sales Engineers.

Qualifications

• A technical background, ideally in electromechanics or a related field.
• Knowledge of electric motors, pumps, drives, bearings or similar industrial equipment.
• Experience in inside sales, technical support, service coordination or planning.
• Technicians looking to move into a more office-based role are very welcome.
• A customer-focused mindset and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Organised and comfortable working with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Fluent in Dutch.
• Based within a reasonable commute of Genk.

• Prepare quotations and manage orders for existing industrial customers.
• Advise customers by phone and email on motors, pumps, gearboxes, drives and parts.
• Coordinate repairs and overhauls with the workshop and application engineers.
• Support the external Sales Engineers with quotations and follow-up.
• Identify opportunities to further support and develop existing customer relationships.

Know motors, pumps or drives inside out? Want to put that expertise to work without spending your life on the road?

I’m working with a well-established, family-rooted rotating equipment specialist with 100+ years of experience supporting industrial customers across food, steel, chemicals and pharma.

They’re now looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to join their team in Genk.
