Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Solution Engineer to join our Industrial IoT team in EMEA.

You will act as a customer-focused pre-sales technical specialist, delivering compelling demonstrations, designing solutions, and guiding customers to measurable outcomes with Cisco's portfolio. The role collaborates with Account Executives to craft architectures, prepare BOMs, and run proofs of concept while expanding Industrial IoT capabilities across the region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
5+ years of industry experience.
Strong knowledge of industrial protocols and the Purdue model.
Experience with Cisco Industrial Networking solutions.
Ability to present to executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Own the technical plan for Industrial IoT territory in collaboration with the EA.
Deliver demos, POC activities, and value proofs to customers.
Create bills of materials and technical proposals for opportunities.
Collaborate with Account Executives on advancing new opportunities.
Mentor and enable regional SEs; support RFP responses with technical differentiation.
Drive technical enablement across EMEA and contribute to solution architectures.
