Job summary

Cisco Systems Belgium SPRL is seeking a Solution Engineer to join the Industrial IoT team in EMEA. You will partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales role, deliver technical demonstrations, create bills of materials, and run proofs of concept to drive customer value.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering degree, 5+ years in industrial environments, and knowledge of Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and related industrial protocols. Strong presentation and workshop skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of industrial IoT or technical field experience.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols: Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus.
• Experience with MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi.
• Strong presentation and workshop experience.
• Experience in cross-cultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical plan for territory and align with EA teams.
• Deliver demos, PoCs, and value proofs to customers.
• Create BOMs and architect solutions with portfolio SEs.
• Lead pre-sales activities and technical workshops across EMEA.
• Contribute to roadmap discussions with the Industrial IoT BE.
