Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer to support data processing and transformation activities in an industrial environment. You will investigate data sources, understand data flows, and build reliable data pipelines using Python and cloud technologies.

Fluent in French with English at B2 level is preferred. The role emphasizes data governance, cataloguing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and reliability across Snowflake and AWS platforms.

Qualifications

1–4 years of experience in data engineering, data processing, or a similar role.
Master's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Practical experience with Python and an interest in data transformation and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Explore and analyse data sources to understand where data originates and how it is collected.
Investigate and document data flows, transformations, and processing steps.
Develop and maintain data transformation processes using Python.
Contribute to data processing and integration initiatives within Snowflake and AWS environments.
Support data cataloguing, traceability, and governance activities using tools such as Collibra.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
