Job summary

Amaris Consulting | Part of Mantu is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead data governance, architecture, and analytics strategy in an industrial setting. You will shape standards, drive cross-entity data initiatives, and translate strategic goals into actionable data programs.

You will combine hands-on techniques with leadership, working with AWS, Snowflake, Power BI and Collibra, and you will communicate recommendations to senior management while guiding teams and stakeholders across sites

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Data Science, Data Architecture, or Data Governance.
• Mandatory experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong expertise in Data Architecture, Data Governance, AWS, and Snowflake.
• Familiar with Data Lakes, data-driven approaches, data structuring, and cataloguing.
• Experience with Power BI and Collibra.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management across multiple entities.
• Native French speaker with good English proficiency.

Your Responsibilities:

• Define and implement data governance standards and guidelines across multiple entities.
• Drive data architecture initiatives, including Data Lakes, Data-Driven approaches, data structuring, and cataloguing.
• Define and guide the data analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
• Provide expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Power BI, and Collibra environments.
• Leverage MQTT brokers to support data exchange and integration requirements.
• Translate group-level data guidelines into actionable frameworks for individual entities.
• Coordinate and engage cross-functional teams across multiple entities, combining strategic leadership with hands-on involvement.
• Communicate data strategy and recommendations to senior management and executive stakeholders.

Your Profile:

• You have 7 to 10 years of experience in Data Science, Data Architecture, Data Governance, or a related field.
• You have mandatory experience in an industrial environment.
• You have strong expertise in Data Architecture, Data Governance, AWS, and Snowflake.
• You are familiar with Data Lakes, Data-Driven approaches, data structuring, and data cataloguing.
• You have experience with Power BI and Collibra.
• You combine strategic thinking with the ability to remain hands-on when required.
• You have proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams across multiple entities.
• You are a native French speaker and have a good command of English.
