Editx is seeking a Data Engineer / BI Consultant to join our international client team in Belgium to design, develop, and optimize the data ecosystem. You will drive end-to-end data pipelines, governance, and reporting capabilities across regions.

The role emphasizes Snowflake-based pipelines, SQL/Linux automation, and a modern Data Mesh approach combining data lake and warehouse concepts, with collaboration across time zones and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and Linux/Bash for data integration and automation.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Mesh, Data Lake, Data Warehouse).

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines within Snowflake.

• Implement and maintain Data Mesh architecture with Data Lake and Data Warehouse principals.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of data flows and reporting.

As a Data Engineer / BI Consultant, you will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's data ecosystem.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines within a Snowflake environment.
• Working with SQL and Linux/Bash to support data integration, automation, and transformation processes.
• Implementing and maintaining solutions within a modern Data Mesh architecture combining Data Lake and Data Warehouse principles.
• Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of data flows and reporting solutions.
• Collaborating closely with international business stakeholders located across multiple countries and time zones.
• Gathering business requirements and translating them into sustainable and efficient data solutions.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of reporting, analytics, and Business Intelligence capabilities.
• Contributing to data quality, governance, and optimization initiatives.
• Participating in ongoing projects related to cloud data platforms and digital transformation.
