Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer to support data processing and transformation in an industrial environment. You will investigate sources, understand data flows, and build reliable data pipelines using Python and cloud technologies.

You will work with Snowflake, AWS, Collibra, and data cataloging tools to ensure data quality and governance. A Master’s degree and 1–4 years of experience are expected, with a French native speaker and English level B2.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Master's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Practical experience with Python and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Explore and analyse data sources to understand where data originates and how it is collected.
• Investigate and document data flows, transformations, and processing steps.
• Develop and maintain data transformation processes using Python.
• Contribute to data processing and integration initiatives within Snowflake and AWS environments.
• Support data cataloguing, traceability, and governance activities using tools such as Collibra.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
